Open to Animal Lovers, Students, Developing and Existing Practitioners
Animal Allies has evolved!
Last year in 2022, Animal Allies was a private mentoring group for developing and existing animal practitioners. After eight months together, we decided that everyone would benefit from Animal Allies.
Animal Allies is open to animal lovers, those studying animal modalities, and developing and existing animal practitioners (all backgrounds).
Animal Allies explores different complementary care options, whether you're wanting to support your own animal family, and/ or educate clients in your practice. Animal Allies meetings also include group discussion: dedicated time to ask questions, share recent experiences for group feedback and support, and celebrate successes.
Animal Allies meetings are two hours long and held live on Zoom on April 1, June 10, August 12, October 14, and December 2, 2023. Choose the meeting(s) topic(s) you'd like to attend. Replays are available within 24 hours to those who register for the meetings.
Optional peer teaching opportunities, and optional private mentoring supports (offered at significantly discounted rates) are available to those who have an existing or developing animal practice.

First Aid
Homeopathic Remedies for Gastrointestinal Issues Our animals can get Gastrointestinal problems quite often and very easily. With Homeopathy we can offer them first aid assistance and many times successfully resolving these issues.
The gastrointestinal (Gl) system is a common site of problems in dogs and cats. As the first line of defense against toxins or organisms taken into the body via the mouth, this element is second only to the skin in importance as a barrier to outside forces. In many ways, the GI tract is an interior extension of the skin, as it constitutes a tunnel through the body. In essence, the body is like a long, hollow cylinder with the skin providing the outside surface and the GI tract the inside surface.
When illness occurs, symptoms of GI disturbance represent an inability of the body to carry out these normal functions. Food may not go down or stay down, thus regurgitation occurs, which is ejection of swallowed undigested foods shortly after eating. If foods have been in the stomach or even the small intestine longer and digestion is well underway, expulsion of these is called vomiting. Evacuation problems may be too rapid or too slow. Too-rapid passage leads to poor assimilation of foods and poor reabsorption of water, resulting in diarrhea. If movement is slow, excessive water resorption occurs and stools become dry and hard, resulting in constipation. With diarrhea or constipation there may be mucus or blood, straining tenesmus, improper color or odor, undigested foods, or gas. Poor digestion or poor foods may also lead to irritating discharges, causing inflammation around the anus. Much research is currently underway about how homeopathic remedies work. One popular theory is that each individual potentised remedy contains a form of energy, derived from the original substance through the process of dilution and succussion and stored as an imprint on water molecules. It is this energy which heals, acting possibly through the immune system, correcting imbalances in the body which manifest themselves as illness. Correctly applied, homeopathy can be a remarkable and effective system of medicine which is both safe and without side-effects. The key to successful use of homeopathy lies in matching the animal's symptoms to the remedy fairly accurately. The closer the match, the more likely the chance of a response. If, by chance, the wrong remedy is given then nothing happens, but neither is any harm done. Choice of remedy and dosage is important. This information along with detailed advice can be obtained by contacting a homeopathic vet. Curated resources will also be provided by our guest speaker Eleni Gkikakis. |

Founder of Interspecies Peace REGISTER HERE
Eleni Gkikakis is a Holistic animal healing coach, animal communicator, sacred activist, international Interspecies Peace Facilitator and advocate for animal welfare, natural care, and Mother Earth.
During her successful efforts to save her horse’s life against all traditional medical predictions, she became disheartened and disenchanted by the modern practices of treating animals, and health in general. Lily made a full recovery and recently celebrated her 30th birthday! Here is a video of her 25th birthday in 2018. By following the teachings and practices of holistic veterinarians, herbalists, homeopaths, and holistic nutritionists, she studied towards a Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy. She counts as mentors and teachers the holistic veterinarians Dr. Will Falconer and the late Juliette De Bairacli Levy, as well as world-renowned interspecies communicators Anna Breytenbach, Penelope Smith, Wynter Worsthorne, and Marta Williams. She underwent training in Native American (mainly Lakota and Cherokee) shamanic healing and ceremonial practices and was guided in Vision Quest three times. As a lifelong sacred activist and advocate for animal welfare and natural care, she is actively involved in numerous conservation projects in Africa, such as the Global White Lion Protection Trust, Animal Spirit, The Jane Goodall Institute, the Linda Tucker Foundation, and independent peacemaking groups such as L.I.O.N. (Love Is Our Nature) and many others. In 2019, she graduated from the Academy for LionHearted Leadership, igniting her desire to set up the Interspecies Peace Foundation, to encourage and assist others on their own journeys for interspecies peace. |

{Christine's} private mentoring sessions from Animal Allies have been essential to me... providing feedback and perspective, supporting me while I work to support animals and the people who care for them, as well as growing my business. I cannot overstate the impact Christine had on my growth and success.
Christine was incredibly supportive, never trying to control how I approached things, but instead offering guidance and resources to help me succeed... Her wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of all things Animal was invaluable, and her patience in answering my questions was greatly appreciated. The resources Christine provided were top-notch and continue to be a valuable resource for me and everyone I get to share them with.
Furthermore, Christine helped me to build confidence in my abilities so that I could grow my business in a way that was authentic to me. Christine's support and encouragement allowed me to achieve success on my own terms, without feeling like I was lost, alone or over my head.
I am deeply grateful for Christine's help and support, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a mentor to anyone looking to learn more about animals or grow their business. Christine is truly a fantastic mentor and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her."
