Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary Photo credit: Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary (supplied photo)
Saturday 28th October 2023
12:15 - 2:15 pm EDT (Toronto Canada) 6:15 - 8:15 pm SAST (Johannesburg South Africa) We'll be speaking with our guests: a Lion, a Leopard and Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary Co-founder/ Director Cathrine Nyquist.
|
Panthera Africa is a non-profit company founded by Lizaene Cornwall and Cathrine Nyquist. The name Panthera Africa is inspired by the passion Lizaene and Cathrine have for the four pantheras; panthera leo - the lion, panthera pardus - the leopard, panthera onca - the jaguar and panthera tigris - the tiger.
Panthera Africa is an environmentally friendly sanctuary for any captive bred big cats where they will all be protected and prosper for the rest of their lives. One of Panthera Africa's main purposes is to be an educational platform where we create awareness about the conditions big cats face in captivity, and how animal welfare and enrichment play a vital role in giving them the best captive life possible. We are a true sanctuary where no hands-on interaction, breeding or trading takes place. We are a blue print of how a non-profit sanctuary, focusing on animal welfare, can become self-sufficient, and we aim to change breeding facilities into sustainable ethical projects. Panthera Africa believes on the connection between both environmental and wildlife conservation and aims to become the first "green" big cat sanctuary in South Africa, and run solely on solar energy. Panthera Africa has found its 40 hectare paradise with a beautiful home for the animals, the founders and the many volunteers visiting. The land is filled with lots of large trees, a natural spring and an amazing 180 degree mountain view! We strongly believe in the saying "in unity there is strength" - and by standing together, human and animal, we believe in the possibility of a prosperous future for the big cats, and we take pride in 'speaking' on their behalf. |

PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary Saturday 9th September 2023
12:15 - 2:15 pm EDT (Toronto Canada) PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary is a non profit organization located in Roseneath, Ontario, Canada.
"We are dedicated to the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and unwanted donkeys, mules and hinnies. We also provide an information hoof-way to educate the public: a donkey is NOT a stubborn, dumb or viscous animal: but a stoic, loyal and very intelligent animal who will risk its life to protect it's charges including humans." Donations help with ongoing vet care, hoof care, food and supplies for the sanctuary. |
"Many thanks to Christine Noble Seller, Animal & Nature Communicator for this amazing animal communication session and donation! Very much appreciated!... Thank you for your donation. We had a great time."

Sheba's Haven Rescue Saturday 15th July 2023
12:15- 2:15 pm EDT (Toronto Canada) "Sheba's Haven Rescue takes in palliative care dogs with life-limiting non-curative illnesses to live their lives in a well balanced environment as a part of our family. They are free to roam indoors or outdoors in the fenced 3 acre yard.
At Sheba’s Haven, some of the residents trot off to Fairmount Home in Glenburnie, Ontario, Canada, every Wednesday morning. They bring happiness and revive pleasant memories for the seniors who reside there, of when they had their own pets. At the same time, our dogs are getting out of the house, having new experiences, and loving the individual attention they receive!" |
"I cannot say enough praise for the Animal Communication Practice Group (ACPG). After the experience, I looked at the dogs in a new light and was able to understand why they did certain things. For the dogs that I never ‘connected’ with, it brought me closer to them because of this understanding, and them to me.
I have used energy care in the past but being so busy it got left behind. Participating in these groups has brought it to the forefront, and now back into my rescue. Vets (like doctors) cannot find everything that may be wrong with my dogs but the session gave me a ‘base' to direct physicals and tests. I have always been an advocate for Animal Communication and energy work. Trying something new can be scary but the benefits may help especially when nothing else has." Caring for Creatures Saturday 6th May 2023
12:15 - 2:15 pm EDT (Toronto Canada) "Caring For Creatures is a no-kill, not-for-profit animal sanctuary established in 1988 and dedicated to caring for homeless animals and enhancing the bond between humans and animals.
Located in Fluvanna County, Virginia, USA on 157 acres of gently rolling fields and woodlands, the private and scenic environment is truly conducive for healing and home to over 200 animals. Our goal is to place our animals into loving and responsible forever homes. If an animal is not selected for adoption, we provide companionship and quality care for as long as needed." |
"In May, 2023, the Caring For Creatures animal sanctuary was invited to participate with Christine Noble Seller’s Animal Communication Practice Group. It was an honor to be selected for this gift and we did not hesitate to accept the invitation.
The program was well organized and professional. Christine is awesome to work with and is, in my humble opinion, always coming from her Heart! The group communicated with two of our feline residents. The communicators were very into what they were doing and approached our two cats with much respect and compassion. I could tell their hearts were open and it was important to them that they did their very best. It was also evident to me that the communicators were of the belief that the animals had much to teach them, creating the beautiful place of openness in which to hear them. I could verify many of the responses they received from our cats and knew right away they 'got' them. Rescue work is its own kind of animal and knowing the animals in your care and how they are feeling and what is important to them, is of great benefit. I would encourage any group offered this opportunity to accept it and give their animals a voice." Mary K. Birkholz President & Founder, Caring For Creatures |

Perfect Imperfections Saturday 4th March 2023
12:15 - 2:15 pm EDT (Toronto Canada) Perfect Imperfections is a non-profit rescue, located in Watertown, Connecticut, USA, dedicated to the education, rescuing, rehabilitation and adoption of special needs dogs.
Dogs in care and for adoption may have visual, hearing or neurological issues, physical impairments (such as a mobility issue, or megaesophagus, etc.). |
Perfect Imperfections founder Trisha Malfitano shared about the experience with the practice group on social media:
"... Zale participated in a group with people who are studying to be animal communicators. The rescue has participated before, it's a great experience... Zale wants to be around kids, he wants people to be more kind and accepting and he wants to stay with ME I have had a special spot in my heart since the day I met him. The thought of him going away made me physically ill... but I wanted to do what was best for him. So Zale will be a permanent part of Perfect Imperfections and will hopefully become my next therapy dog so we can visit more schools and do more education! " #welcomehome #adopted #cerebellarhypoplasia "Jack wants people to remember how to live in the moment, don't take your time together for granted... As always Jack brought tears to my eyes, I never understand how I get so lucky to be loved so fiercely by anyone. These amazing dogs keep me humble and encourage me to keep going even when I don't think I can." #germanshepherd #paralyzeddog #wheelcartdog #myboy |
PRAISE
I have found Christine's animal communication practice groups invaluable. I have struggled to find ways to practice not only more but more consistently. I love the format, which is laid out clearly and I feel like we have plenty of time to both talk with the animals and share/interact with the participating rescue/sanctuary. It's a safe place to share and get our own questions answered about session as needed. It's been wonderful to see how many rescues/sanctuaries believe in/use animal communication and are open to letting us practice and provide us with feedback and take what we share to heart. Plus, we're helping them financially, thanks to the way Christine has set this up... and last but certainly not least, the variety of animals has been amazing: from cats and dogs, to donkeys, to wild big cats. I so hope she continues to offer this opportunity and will be attending if so.

This Animal Communication Practice Group is a fantastic opportunity to practice communication skills in a group environment while supporting the selected non-profit. Christine generously coordinates these opportunities as her way of giving back - supporting both the animals in need as well as those wanting communication practice. These events are well-organized, structured and thought out in advance. I would encourage anyone wanting more experience to participate! Christine creates a supportive environment; you will not be put on the spot or be required to share if you don't want to.

Christine gives her time freely for the practice group and to help the animals. We are given the opportunity to communicate with and raise money for them. It is fabulous practice and she helps the animals in many different ways. If you are interested in animal communication, please join the group, the money raised also goes to the care of the animals that we have the honour of practising with as they say "practice makes perfect" and this is true. I love all the experiences we have had. It's great fun. Where you learn at the same time. Christine is a great mentor and communicator.
