Our guest Janine Opheim investigates the connection between animals and astrology and how the two can come together to support our evolving souls (no previous knowledge of astrology or animal communication needed).

"Coming to astrology as an animal communicator and lover I was extra interested when my teacher, Maurice Fernandez, would talk about animals in relation to astrology. I understood his view was different to most astrologers but he always invited us to feel into what he said and see if it resonated. It always did.

This presentation is bringing together all those pieces where animals and astrology meet.

I will be sharing the signs that relate to animals, astrology signatures relating to animals, how understanding our astrology charts can give us more information about our spirit and totem animals and that animals also have astrology charts.

Through our animal friends charts we can see where they're coming from, understand their personality and challenges more deeply and it can support our deepening relationships with them (sharing  examples from my own life and animal friends)."

ABOUT JANINE OPHEIM
"On one particularly challenging day in 2009 searching to understand herself, Janine realised the ONLY thing she knew for certain was that she wanted to be able to communicate with animals.

Janine adored animals and at the age of 11 she had a major realisation that people could communicate with them, but it would take her 20 years before she made the first step towards learning.

Janine learnt energy healing for animals, then Tellington TTouch for companion animals, but these still didn’t fulfil her heartfelt desire to experience the deepest possible connection with animals. And so on that day in 2009 she committed herself to fulfil her dream of nearly 30 years.

Joining the first White Lion Leadership Academy in 2012, to continue that commitment, she met world-class teachers who would teach her the practical ability to communicate with animals as well as help her to understand her purpose and what was holding her back from living her best life.

​Enter Maurice Fernandez, Master Evolutionary Astrologer. During this 6 week period Janine spent a week with Wynter Worsthorne going deeper into interspecies communication and a week with Maurice learning astrology and about her own astrology chart.

Much to her surprise, Janine was the star of the astrology week and so woke an inner spark she didn’t even know was there.

During her first reading with Maurice at the end of that week, Maurice told her astrology was in her chart, in a big way.

​After Janine qualified as an animal communicator with Wynter’s Animaltalk Africa Online Academy in 2016, she began to work for Wynter to support her other students develop their ability and gain confidence. Over the years Janine has added to Wynter’s already outstanding courses and together they have built a community of kindred spirits all working towards creating a harmonious future for all animals.
​One thing that came up again and again for Janine was the animals asking for help for their humans. While we are worried about the animals, they’re worried about us! As time went on helping people felt more and more right. Her first step was to become a Kundalini Yoga teacher. At the same time subtle prompts by Maurice kept astrology in her sights. She was very interested in astrology but it was an immense amount of knowledge to learn and after all, her dedication was to the animals.

In 2018 something changed. That small spark that woke up in 2012 igniting her interest in astrology began to prod from the inside. So she began to study with Maurice.

It was intense and immense and she loved it but this is when the two paths seemed to diverge.

After losing her job in 2021 Janine began to focus on building up her businesses, both animal and astrology, separately. She started taking on clients doing astrology readings and created At One With Animals conversations with animal communicators.

There was some incredibly karmic and powerful stuff happening in her astrology chart at that time, calling her to commit more seriously and responsibly to her life’s calling.

​During that time Janine began to feel a strong urge to focus more on her astrology course but didn’t want to stop her work with animals. Part of the problem was how she was looking at astrology as if it were separate from nature, and then a light bulb moment, the planets are in fact a part of nature!

In 2022 Janine joined Wynter on one of her transformative virtual Star Lion journey’s, which is incidentally when she met Christine Noble Seller! It was a wonderful experience re-connecting to the beloved and magnificent White Lions, her first time since 2013. It was a deeply, healing and meditative experience.

While swimming in the energies of the Lions Janine asked them, how can I be most of service to you and Mother Earth? She had a feeling she knew the answer but didn’t quite understand it. Just to confirm her feeling she pulled a White Lion Leadership card – the first one was Father Figure, that didn’t make sense. Then she pulled a second – Aslan – Christ Lion of Judah – the only card to mention the Leo Aquarius axis which Janine has natally right on Lion’s Gate 8 August! She realised straight away that the Father Figure card was relating to Maurice – he had the wisdom of an elder. And then she put her head down and got on with it and will qualify with Maurice next month! [September 2023]

And now, In this presentation, Janine is finally brining those two diverging loved of hers back together. NOW things make sense!
