"Today, all conservation issues are global issues.
If Brazil destroys the its rainforests, the world has lost its lungs.
If South Africa destroys its White Lions, the world has lost its heart.”

- Linda Tucker, CEO and Founder GWLPT

 Website
"Our core vision is one of deep and lasting transformation based on a loving and respectful approach to Mother Nature: transforming human-wildlife conflict into a living model of harmonious co-existence between wildlife, Land and People."
The Global White Lion Protection Trust is a carefully-phased scientific reintroduction program to save the white lion species, three prides of White Lions have been reintroduced to their natural habitat. The GWLPT is a leader in community-based conservation, combining indigenious knowledge and modern scientific methods. This registered non profit has implemented a partnership strategy in the living ecology, economy and culture of the region, as well as internationally, to create a better future for us all.

At the Apex of the animal kingdom is the Lion and the White Lions are extra special – although almost extinct from their endemic homelands, this project exists to restore the balance of their genetics into the wild.

The White Lions also have a huge spiritual significance. I have had the privilege of working with them during a personal journey to their pride-lands where I was welcomed by their keeper, Linda Tucker.  Linda has dedicated her life and resources to the preservation and reintroduction of the White Lions, as well as bringing their greater spiritual message to everyone in order to return Nature to balance.

The project is not open to the public but visits and experiences can be arranged through wonderful individuals I'm grateful to know. I also highly recommend reading Linda’s books, including Mystery of the White Lions.
