We thoroughly enjoyed an intimate and meaningful conversation with Dawn Baumann Brunke about 'Dreaming with Animals.'

Dawn shared her experiences with lucid dreaming including co-dreaming and led us through a meditation (Meet your Animal Guide/ Teacher).  Dawn shared about her book Dreaming with Polar Bears which began with an unexpected and amazing experience she had with a living polar bear who was a very accomplished lucid dreamer. This led her to meet the Polar Bear Council (a group of polar bear spirits that oversee the dream-bridge between humans and polar bears)

This conversation discussed dreams, dreaming with animals, tips for dreaming and co-dreaming, including:
  • What is lucid dreaming?
  • How do you remember and work with your dreams?
  • How can you meet your animal teachers and guides?
  • How can you deepen your relationship with them?

We learned about Dawn's new book Shadow Animals, How Animals We Fear Can Help Us Heal, Transform and Awaken (published in October 2022).
Dawn is an author, animal communicator, and dream enthusiast. She has written eight books about connecting at deeper levels with animals, nature, self and spirit, and has also designed a Tarot deck. Dawn’s books include Animal Voices, Animal Teachings, The Key to Spirit Animals, The Animal Wisdom Tarot, Awakening the Ancient Power of Snake, and Dreaming with Polar Bears. You can read many chapter excerpts from her books on her website. Dawn lives in Alaska with her husband and smart, sassy dog, Deshka.
