Our conversation with Tim Link of Wagging Tales touched on an important and emotional topic for animal lovers, covering some of the commonly asked questions about 'Missing and Lost Animals' and shared what you can do in this situation, including:

  • Is there a difference between lost and missing animals?
  • Why do animals leave their homes or run away?
  • What are some of the reasons animals might not return home or be found?
  • What can we do when our animal is missing? Why it's so important to remain positive about the outcome?

We also talked about how Tim uses map dowsing and pendulums in his work.
Tim Link is an author, writer, speaker, nationally syndicated radio host and full-time animal communicator. As part of his passion for helping animals, Tim has also mastered Reiki - an ancient art of energy healing - which he uses on animals. Tim has been featured in numerous newspaper, television and radio shows. You can listen to Tim’s radio show, Animal Writes, where he interviews the latest pet-related authors, writers, and blogger, on Pet Life Radio. He's the author of two books, Talking with Dogs and Cats: Joining the Conversation to Improve Behavior and Bond with Your Animals and Wagging Tales: Every Animal Has a Tale. Tim has also created two audio guided meditations, Connecting with Animals and Relax the Body and Mind.

Ahimsa House (which is pronounced “uh-HIM-sah” and means “nonviolence” in Sanskrit) located in Tucker, Georgia, USA, was founded in 2004 by Emily Christie after she lost a pet to domestic violence. Up to 71% of victims entering domestic violence shelters report that their abusers threatened, injured, or killed the family pets. Ahimsa House became Georgia’s first and only organization dedicated to helping the human and animal victims of domestic violence reach safety together.
